Retired Bankers Trust CEO and serial mentor Suku Radia has joined Iowa State University's Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business as executive-in-residence of the school's new MBA program. This was after nine years as CFO at Meredith Corporation. Radia was elected to the Nationwide board in 2014. He previously served as the chief financial officer of Meredith Corporation (a NYSE company) and as managing partner of KPMG’s Des Moines, Iowa, office. Suku says the one of the biggest challenges he’s dealt with in a leadership role was shortly after happened the week after he became CEO of Bankers Trust - the Great Recession. Suku Radia is chief executive officer and president of Bankers Trust, Iowa’s largest independent bank. Since retiring, Suku has stayed busy serving on three corporate boards and three nonprofit boards. He has also served on the executive committee and board of directors for the Greater Des Moines Partnership. Suku Radia is retired CEO of Bankers Trust in Greater Des Moines (DSM).
